We normally use concentrated extracts in the production process of dry extract. In the production of dry extracts, we have developed specific instructions for each type of herbal products, which requires us to use some protective compounds for protecting and also to standardizing the extracts. After the powder comes out of the spray dryer, it is completely mixed, sifted and standardized in special blenders.

Since the production of API in Sina Pazhouhan Company is based on GMP standards, all API production and preparation processes in this company are carried out in class D standard clean rooms in accordance with ISO 8. The existence of these clean rooms in the production processes of Sina Pazhouhan Company gives maximum assurance to the quality control units and customers of this company regarding the prevention of secondary pollution.

Extraction processes are designed to cause minimal damage to the active compounds. This topic has been considered regarding the temperature protection of active compounds and also in other processes that somehow increase the possibility of foreign contamination in the product.

In order to reduce external contamination in the extracts, the air in the production halls is continuously ventilated and passed through standard pharmaceutical filters. This issue is also true for water consumption and all the water used in the company’s production system is purified by reverse osmosis filters. The beginning of the filtration process is done in order to remove particles and organic compounds, and then all ionic materials are removed through double reverse osmosis cartridges. Then, in order to ensure the complete removal of polluting factors, the produced water is passed through tube channels equipped with UV lamps, and after ensuring complete disinfection, the water enters the production line. The water produced in this unit is tested daily in order to comply with the standard specifications of the European Pharmacopoeia (EuP2011).
